I found the blog via Jenny Hart’s newsletter & I’m glad I did. Something I’m always looking for are ideas to use embroidery in unexpected ways. Clothing, pillows and bags seemed obvious but I’m stuck about ways to incorporate it into other types of projects or uses. I’m off to check your archives and see what I can discover.

I’ve been doing embroidery all on my own for almost a year now, mostly in scrap booking. I’ve had to make my own patterns from art stencils I’ve found, but they just aren’t the same. I’ve been desperate for some GOOD patterns to try out, and saw a Sublime Stitching book for the first time today! I’m so happy to see that I’m not alone in my lust for stitching! After perusing your website, I was wondering if we could see some more online instructions on simple stitches. I’d also like to see some patterns on Massage Therapy (my profession), pandas and music. I love the sushi and monkey themes – they’re going to be a blast to do!

I am so lucky to have hit upon this web site. Such a beautiful assortment of subjects for all interests. Once inside this beautiful library of creativity you are lost only to emerge with a list of “got to do projects.” How can you improve on this??? Never, keep going the way you are……

I’m just getting started in embroidery after having a brief moment when I was 12 yrs old, to play with my sister’s embroidery project. She was nice enough to let me thread it little and ever since then I wanted my own embroidery kit. I just bought one(kit) but would love to have more patterns.

I’m also interested in knitting and sewing(clothes), so having more topics about those would be helpful but it seems you have pretty much everything covered.

I just got started into embroidery, and would love to hear what different people like to do needlework on (like clothing, bedding, etc.) I’m always looking for new and unique ideas!

I also love doing beadwork, and metal work. Now I’m trying to incorporate embroidery into my projects
