Stitching up with ‘Freestyle Machine Embroidery’ would put my new sewing machine into hyper-drive, leaving buttonhole stitches and hem stitching in the dust. This book opens up the many possibilities for creating embroidered machine art for those with an interest to move into new design techniques with their sewing machines. Thanks, Nikki

Wow! When I took machine embroidery classes about 30 years ago we just made little kitty faces, a rose, etc. all with the same kind of thread. I love the textures & the subject matter is great. Your book on freestyle machine embroidery would be a great incentive to try it again.

    Thanks,

    Fran

I adore free machine embroidery! Unfortunately I bought a machine with a horizontal bobbin case, so it isn’t as handy for this. But I’m still trying and that amazing portrait is enough to keep me going!

I have a straight stitch machine… can’t afford an embroidery machine and have been wondering how I can do something more with what I’ve got. Today while surfing around the web I found some pics on flickr of wool broochs with trees embroidered on them that were done with this technique. That woman lives in England so can’t learn from her! I’d love to at least LOOK at this book :-)
