You could win this beautiful crewel-embroidery kit from Dimensions — the needlework brand of EK Success. The Dimensions site says,

Whether framed or appliqued to a pillow, our colorful Tree design in crewel embroidery will brighten your home. This project is fun to create using a variety of stitches. Kit contains printed cotton fabric, presorted wool yarn, needle and easy instructions. Finished Size: 9.5″ x 9.5″ (24 x 24 cm).

I have a “thing” for tree art and for crewel embroidery. I would make this as a wall hanging and hang it with some other crewel work that one of my great aunts made back in the 70′s!

I love trees and this is one of the cutest things I have seen!!! I still have a crewel piece I made into a pillow (a koala bear sitting in a tree) that I made while waiting in the airport to go to my duty assignment overseas back in the ’70s!!!

A brilliant version of a tree looking almost 70s mod. I completed a birch setting in crewel work that had been started by my friends Grandmother prior to her passing, years ago. It hangs in pride in my sewing, craft room. To add this one as its updated sister would be lovely.
