Inspiration: Postmark’d Art

August 18, 2008 |

Photo and art by Norma BuidaPostmark’d Art emerged from a Summer 2004 Quilting Arts article about fabric postcards. Readers fell in love with the concept and volunteered to participate in fabric-postcard exchanges. One hub of such exchanges is Postmark’d Art, a group of 50 “fiber arts junkies” from around the world who share their creations and innovations both by mail and on line. The example at the left is by Norma Buida of Brentwood, TN, USA. See more of her work and that of other artists in Postmark’d Art’s gallery. And then go sign up for the next exchange!

Many thanks to Chloe of Tangled Thread for the heads-up.
