Sometimes, I’m a little slow on the uptake. I subscribe to Aubrey Longley-Cook‘s blog, spool spectrum. Week after week, I’ve seen him post what seemed like dozens of slight variations of an embroidery called Runaway. Today he posted the finished piece — a stop-motion video compiled from all those stitched images. (Duh! Aubrey is an animator. Hel-LO!) Brilliant! Beautiful! You have to see it! Go to Aubrey’s post.
