Sharon Shetley is guest blogging on Needle ‘n’ Thread about her role in the popularization of Brazilian embroidery, a dimensional style (similar to stumpwork) that usually focuses on flowers and nature. You’ll enjoy her story and the wealth of photos. See the post.

The flower and butterfly done in Brazilian is very pretty. Any chance that the pattern is available? I am planning to introduce Brazilian Embroider to some of my guild members who have never done it before. I want to start with a small piece. Jean
The Brazilian embroidery piece stitched by Sharon Shetley is very pretty. Is it possible that the pattern is available? I am going to introduce it to some new members in my guils and want to start with a small but interesting piece with several different stitches. Jean
