Tricia of Thistle Threads has started a new, fascinating project. She has acquired an antique casket (the type usually covered with embroidered fabric) in bad shape but with much of the original hardware intact. She’ll be deconstructing it carefully to learn how such things were made. And you know there’s bound to be a restoration or reproduction ahead. Go to the first post in her series. And be sure to bookmark her blog so you can watch the project unfold.
