GET CRAFTGOSSIP UPDATES AS THEY HAPPEN ON FACEBOOK OR TWITTER

Designed, stitched, and photographed by Myra of Tactile Pleasures in Fabric blogMyra of Tactile Pleasures in Fabric blog has put together an awesome tutorial for a fab project, just in time to make some up as holiday gifts. Myra shows us how to turn an inexpensive store-bought sweatshirt into a jacket with reverse-applique panels down the front. So pretty! Go see the tute.

And thanks so much, Myra, for taking the time to share this lesson with us.

I would love to print out your instructions to make the sweat shirt of Oct. 20 but cannot seem to get it to print out on the black background and with all the pictures along the left edge. Can you tell me how to get a printable copy? Thanks, Fern

Hi, Fern! You may want to go directly to the blog of the poster, Myra, at Tactile Pleasures in Fabric blog and request her assistance with printing or see if she has a document file she can send you. Just click the link in my post to go to her blog.

    All best,
    Denise

    Love the tutorial!
Will be doing one of these shirts. But would like to know what happens if you used a pre-washed sweatshirt? Does it not have the same effects?
