Meri says, “In her sculptures and installations she plays with trivial objects and materials of daily life [such us doilies, knittings, pans, plastic cutlery (forks, knives and spoons) or even tampons!] giving them a sense and shape connected with traditional Portuguese values.” Remarkable!
