CC of Lace ‘n’ Ribbon Roses blog has made available a vintage (1960) pattern book from Coats & Clark. When you click the images, larger versions open. The text is still a bit hard to make out, but the images are clear and simple. You can definitely get a clear enough idea to try some cross-stitch or chicken scratch on a gingham background. Check out the brochure. (But before you click over, mute your audio. I’m a serious fan of The Cat, but I wanted to smack him on the fourth or fifth restart of Morning Has Broken.)
