CarterQuilter created this beautiful quilt (with the help of Kaylin Francis, Marie Chestnut, and Michelle Brown, and the Washington State Internet Quilters) to honor Melissa Erickson, a 30-year-old former professional basketball player who has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease. The pattern is now free from the Quilt Patterns from Seattle site.
