Product review: Strip-It

August 21, by Denise Felton. 2 Comments

Photo by ClotildeJennifer Stern at CraftStylish is advocating the Strip-It tool “to create mountains of fabric strips without lots of effort.” How have I managed not to hear of this tool before? I’m going to go click around and buy one right now. And I’m telling you just in case you’ve been in the dark, too.

Go see what Jennifer has to say about the Strip-It.

How many times have I bought a wonderful new “time-saving device” and found that it did not do what I needed it for? What I would need the Strip-It for would be to cut fleece remnants into strips to make rugs, bags, etc. Before I lose my self-control and run out and get one, does anyone have experience with it for fleece?

i just got mine today. the instructions are very lacking. i practiced on a scrap piece of fabric. all of the blades stick up all the time making cutting a 1 1/4 inch strip without slicing the fabric on any other blades is very tricky. have yet to get it. i’m thinking it will be going back.
