Lady Shuttlemaker reminds us that the deadline for The Butterfly Project has been extended to December 31, 2012. Please take a little time to join in this project commemorating children who perished in the Holocaust. The Holocaust Museum Houston is gathering 1.5 million handmade butterflies–one for each child who died. The project’s site says, “The butterflies will eventually comprise a breath-taking exhibition for all to remember.” Go to Lady Shuttlemaker’s post for the link to a free pattern for a tatted butterfly. Or go directly to the project’s site.
