Etsy seller Berene Campbell of Happy Sew Lucky is raising funds for breast-cancer research with sales of this original embroidery pattern. She says,
I designed this pattern for my friend Krista Hennebury’s team “Kickin’ Cancer with Creativity” in the Walk to End Breast Cancer. They raised over $41,000 for Breast Cancer! When she stitched this and posted it on her blog, people asked her if they could buy the pattern. So we decided to put it in my Etsy shop and continue the fundraising effort even though their walk is done. Given how many of us have been touched by breast cancer, it’s a great thing to share. This pattern honours my mum and every other breast cancer survivor who likes to get busy with their hands.
And many thanks to Bari Ackerman of We Love French Knots for pointing out this opportunity.

This inspired us to create a pink ribbon coffee cozy for the cause. We are donating a portion of our proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Thanks for featuring my design. And I’m so happy that it has inspired others to make and donate too. The more we raise for Cancer Research, the better for all of us.
