Beautiful find,Denise. Just checked your archives, starting from August 2007.Was wondering if the oldest free patterns still exist. Most of the links there are outdated.
Love,
Deepa
Why not republish your oldest freebies with the theme “old is gold”
This one is real cute from your 2007 archive

Deepa
Hi, Deepa! As you probably know, my blog seldom posts original material. There are so many fabulous commercial and personal blogs available, and most people don’t have time to follow more than a few. My mission is to do the surfing for you — I follow nearly 1,000 needlework blogs and post links to the articles that I think you’ll most enjoy. So this is kind of a “news” blog — each day’s posts are a snapshot of what’s happening in the needlework world right now.
I love our archives, and I think there’s still plenty of useful and interesting material available through them. However, if the post is old, there’s a good chance the link will fail because the destination blog may have been reorganized or discontinued.
The best advice I can offer is: If you see a pattern you might like to try in one of my posts or freebie round-ups, follow the link right away and download the pattern to your hard drive. It might not be available tomorrow!
Thank you so much for visiting, Deepa, and for all you do for the embroidery community online. I appreciate you.
Denise
