So what is the history of good ole frosty the snowman?  Bob Eckstein spent seven years traveling the world researching and attempting to answer the age-old question, who made the first snowman?

The oldest material discovered was a marginal image from a 1380 book of hours unearthed in The Hague’s Koninklijke Bibliotheek. The first known image of a snowman was shot in 1853 by Welsh photographer Mary Dillwyn, and the original is housed at the National Library of Wales.
