2 Free Zinnia Machine Embroidery Designs to Brighten Up Your Next Project

April 3, 2026 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

If you love bright floral machine embroidery designs, these two free zinnia patterns from Ann The Gran are really sweet. Both designs are by Fable Kreations, and both have that cheerful garden look that works beautifully for spring and summer projects.

Of the two, Zinnia Flowers feels like the bigger, more dramatic design. This is the one I’d use if I wanted the embroidery to be the main feature on a project like a cushion, tote, or even the back of a jacket. It has that lovely bold floral feel that really stands out.

Zinnia Blooms feels a bit more practical for everyday stitching. It’s still pretty, but it looks easier to use on smaller projects like tea towels, bags, or table linens. If you like designs that are easier to place without having to rearrange your whole project around them, this one is probably the handier choice.

What I like most is that they don’t feel like duplicate designs. One is more of a statement piece, and the other feels more flexible. That’s actually quite nice if you’re building up a little stash of free floral embroidery patterns and want options.

If I had to pick just one, I’d probably go with Zinnia Blooms for versatility, but if you love a big bold flower, Zinnia Flowers is the one that will catch your eye first.
