When I first heard about the Foster Care Society, I felt a deep sadness. These are children who have been through so much pain and heartache. I wanted to do something to help. I knew that I could use my embroidery sewing machine to make 50 santa sacks.
Each bag would be filled with pajamas, pillow cases and washroom items. I also added toys for the children. It was such a joy to see the smiles on their faces when they opened their sacks.
I am so grateful for the Foster Care Society. They have made such a huge difference in the lives of the children. I hope that my gift will help them continue to make a difference for years to come.
I was so happy when the sacks were finished. I couldn’t wait to give them to the children who need them the most. By making these sacks, I was able to give a little bit of joy to some of the children who need it the most. Thank you, embroidery machine, for making my holiday season a little bit brighter.
