We all love plastic canvas crafts right?  I know I like them, especially easy ones and these coasters are just that.  Easy and festive, you are sure to find a design that you love.  Best of all, they are all free of charge.

Stitch up a set for you and one for your bestie today.

If you love decorating your home with beautiful drink coasters, then you will love the idea of making your own! With a little bit of creativity and some plastic canvas embroidery, you can create coasters that are just as beautiful and unique as any you can buy.

First, you will need some plastic canvas. This can be found at most craft stores or online. Once you have your plastic canvas, you will need to decide what design you would like to embroider onto it. There are a variety of designs that are available, and you can choose whatever you feel looks best on your drink coasters.

Once you have chosen your design, you will need to embroider it onto your plastic canvas. This can be done using a variety of stitches, and you can find instructions for doing so online or in a book about embroidery.

Once you have your plastic canvas embroidered and dried, it is time to start making your drink coasters. First, you will need to decide how many drink coasters you would like to make. Next, you will need to trace the design onto the plastic canvas. Be sure to follow the instructions that come with your embroidery kit if you are purchasing one,  to make sure that your stitches are precise.

Once you have traced your design, it is time to start stitching. Use a zigzag stitch to help keep your stitches tight, and be sure to go back and redo any stitches that mistake. Once you have finished stitching, be sure to wash the drink coasters in hot water and dry them before use.

Now that you have learned how to make your own drink coasters, be sure to try out some of the beautiful designs that are available online or in a craft store. You will be able to create unique and beautiful drink coasters that you will love to display in your home.
