Helping Japan Auction: Micro quilt trio

April 1, 2011 by Denise Felton 3 Comments

The winner has been announced.

Have you heard about the Helping Japan auctions that are going on all over Craft Gossip right now?  If not, read our announcement and then go to the Helping Japan section that lists all of our auctions.  100% of the money raised will go to Salvation Army to help with relief efforts in Japan.  (Because of shipping costs, this auction is open only to U.S. residents.)

First up on the Needlework blog: A set of three micro quilts handmade by moi. The triplets are shades of turquoise, aqua, and acid green. Wonky log-cabin blocks are topped with aqua flower appliques, which are heavily embroidered with metallic copper thread and embellished with green glass seed beads. Mounted on artist canvas. Each square measures 7-1/4″ x 7-1/4″ x 3/4″. Ready to hang. Retail value: US$40. Minimum bid: US$5.

Please enter your bid in a comment to this post. Be sure to include your e-mail address on the comment form so we’ll have a way to contact you if you win. Highest bid at the close of the auction — 11:59 p.m. Central USA time, April 7 — wins the set.
