Helping Japan Auction: Red Buddha Micro Quilt

April 1, 2011 by Denise Felton 3 Comments

The winner has been announced.

Have you heard about the Helping Japan auctions that are going on all over Craft Gossip right now?  If not, read our announcement and then go to the Helping Japan section that lists all of our auctions.  100% of the money raised will go to Salvation Army to help with relief efforts in Japan.  (Because of shipping costs, this auction is open only to U.S. residents.)

Auction 2 from the Needlework blog is another of my handmade items: A micro quilt (4″x4″) of red and white gingham cotton, heavily embroidered with cotton floss and metallic thread and embellished with black glass seed beads. Focal: tiny red glass cab with embedded gold Buddha. Mounted in chipboard frame handpainted with metallic acrylics. 8″x8″x1.5″. Frame is fitted to hang. Retail value: US$28. Minimum bid: US$5.

Please enter your bid in a comment to this post. Be sure to include your e-mail address on the comment form so we’ll have a way to contact you if you win. Highest bid at the close of the auction — 11:59 p.m. Central USA time, April 7 — wins the item.
