Auction 3 from the Needlework blog. Yes, I made this one, too. Two 2″x2″ micro-quilts mounted in a handpainted chipboard frame. Quilts are quilting cotton and cotton batting, heavily embroidered with clear acrylic pendant beads. On the top quilt, the pendant beads are arranged in a dome and accented with pale blue glass seed beads. On the bottom quilt, the pendant beads are arranged in rows and separated by the same tiny blue glass beads. The background is painted pearl white over a faint harlequin pattern. The frame is painted in metallic blue, sand, and antique gold with touches of copper. 6.5″x12″x1.5″. Frame is fitted to hang. Retail value: US$30. Minimum bid: US$5.
