Welcome, Connie!

September 1, 2011 by Denise Felton 10 Comments

As of today, CraftGossip has a separate cross-stitch blog, edited by our beloved Connie G. Barwick. WoooHOOO! By separating cross-stitch from the Needlework News blog, we can give cross-stitchers more focused attention, more news, more freebies. I love me some cross-stitch; but, let’s be honest, I’m no expert. Connie, on the other hand, is a cross-stitching goddess. I know you’re going to love her new blog. Please click cross-stitch near the top of the nav bar on the left side of this page to visit Connie and give her some love.

Since I’ll no longer be covering counted-thread-type material, what will happen to all the cross-stitch, blackwork, and hardanger posts I’ve already published? Don’t worry; they’re safe. They’ll remain in the CraftGossip archives where you can reach them. And the category links and search in the nav bar will still work. I just won’t be adding new material on that topic. Be sure to add Connie’s new blog to your reader so you get all the latest cross-stitch news!

Welcome, Connie! We’re so glad you’re here.

    WHERE? I don’t see a cross stitch link at the top on the left… I see one way down the page, but I don’t think that is the right one. So where do we go? Perhaps you should have put the link in the announcement for us…. directionally challenged :o}

    Change that. I see it now, wasn’t there before I sent the comment. hmmmm ok, perhaps I should have refresh the page first and then looked?

    Thanks for doing this, sure I am going to love it.

    Connie – you do get around, don’t you? LOL So glad to have a spot to access the cross stitch goodies more quickly. I’ll still scan all the other crafty items but I love my cross stitch. 🙂
