If you live near or can visit New York City, you could see some of the works featured in Jamie Chalmers’ PUSH Stitchery up close and personal. The book by our beloved MrXStitch shows embroidery by 30 innovative and extraordinary needle artists. The New York show at the Textile Arts Center is curated by Luke Haynes and features other local artists highlighted in PUSH, including Orly Corgan, Jimmy McBride, and Joetta Maue. The TAC announcement says,
Let’s celebrate these great fiber artists, admire their work and help us create a collaborative embroidery project! We will provide the materials, if you bring the creativity!
