Goldwork you can afford

October 17, 2011 by Denise Felton Leave a Comment

Gerry Krueger of Older Rose has a brilliant and generous idea for a crazy-quilting round robin. Real gold threads are quite pricey. In the past, Gerry had to drop out of a goldwork round robin because of the cost. I’d like to know if anyone else is interested. If I can get enough people I will send out a baggie of stuff from my really cool gold stash to each entrant to get them started and now is the time to look for it in the thrift stores with the Christmas stuff and the markdown bins at hobby shops.

If you’d like to join in, leave a comment at Gerry’s blog post.
