All is well

September 26, 2010 by Denise Felton 17 Comments

Some of you have noticed that my posts have been sparse over the past couple of weeks. I sincerely appreciate your sweet notes of concern. I’m juggling a full-time job, my CraftGossip gig, and a small art business. Once in a while, I can’t keep all the balls in the air. The issue right now: My 85-year-old dad nosedived down the stairs and broke his hip. After surgery and a brief hospital stay, he moved to rehab to gain strength and balance before he returns home. He is amazing everyone with his determination and humor. In fact, he’s doing so well, he’ll most likely go home next week. But when I’m forced to choose between spending time with him and posting needlework news, he wins! 🙂 I know you’ll understand and bear with me for a couple more weeks as we all get our routines worked out again. And please know how grateful I am that you care. CraftGossip readers are the best!

Lo importante es que arregles tus cosas de poco a poco, no te presiones y mucho menos te apresures, porque eso hará que no salgan bién. Deseo que tu papá se mejore lo más pronto posible. Ten un excelente día hoy y siempre.

I know how much of a worry an ill parent can be. I do hope he’s quickly on the mend, although it sounds like he’s doing well. You are juggling a lot, so take care of your self won’t you?
