Amazing – Common Quilt Blocks 1,000 Piece Puzzle

April 27, 2020 by Shellie Wilson 1 Comment

Last week I completed my first 1000 piece puzzle in years. It was my isolation of lockdown project. I had basically spent the last 5 weeks doing other things and needed to focus on something more mindless than repairing the house and sorting cupboards.

I finished my puzzle in 5 days, I don’t know if that is fast or not and that is not the reason for me telling you, it is to give you an example of how many hours of mindlessness I got out of my purchase.  I would work on the puzzle for at least 2-3hours a day sometimes in the morning with my coffee and other times late at night with my glass of wine.  I also had several little hands helping me at various times too.

One thing the puzzle did teach me was patience and it also taught me I am stubborn too. Sometimes I just wouldn’t give up or (go to bed) until I found the jigsaw piece I was looking for.

I truly think finding a puzzle that is something you like to look at is really helpful and encouraging too. I once did a war puzzle and found it rather boring and somber.

So that is why I am sharing with you this awesome quilt-themed puzzle.     (seems this one is out of stock but you can also buy it here)

That is so beautiful! Did each square come in a separate bag or were all the pieces loose in the box?
