Batting from bottles

Bee Square Blog reports a discovery from fall quilt market – a new, environmentally friendly quilt batting.  She says,

This year the new green is batting made from recycled plastic bottles. The Quilter’s Dream brand reports that each twin sized batting (93″ x 72″) keeps 13 plastic bottles from entering landfills. This batting will not shrink if washed in cold water, and only 1% in warm water, which was pretty much what I was looking for. I think I have a winner.
