Blackwork is a fun counted-thread embroidery style that is easy to learn and can be done using any evenweave fabric and embroidery thread. Imaginesque is a great source of free blackwork charts and this recent post is a fine example of their work. gorgeous, but i am looking for a motif i can finish in 30 ,minutes or less for my Christmas cards. maybe i can adapt it but it is so pretty i dont want to spoil it.
