Sometimes I wish I lived in Australia so I could attend needlework classes at Country Bumpkin headquarters. You, too? Here are some awesome opportunities for folks in the USA to get a little Aussie needle flavor. Country Bumpkin’s e-newsletter announces,
Country Bumpkin will be having a stand at the Smocking Arts Guild of America’s annual convention in Atlanta and the Embroiderers’ Guild of America’s convention in Santa Fe, both in October.
In between these two conventions Susan O’Connor will be teaching in the historic Hudson Valley in Beacon, New York. We only released these classes last week and have had a great response, so if you would like more information or to book, please email Fiona. To find out more, download the brochure (approx 1mb pdf) or visit our website.
Fiona can also put you in touch with Mary Ann Kronk, who established the Needle Arts Guild of the Historical Hudson Valley in Beacon, if you would like to talk to someone who is based locally.
Mary Ann’s blog can be found at http://nacientneedle.wordpress.com/about/.
