August 2, 2012 by Denise Felton Leave a Comment

Plastic canvas lovers: heads up!! Cottage Mills is about to release artist-size sheets of plastic canvas! Their news release says,

After much anticipation the QuickCount Artist size (22 5/8” x 13 5/8”) plastic canvas is now in production and ready for sale.  Available in soft or stiff sheets and perfect for larger plastic canvas projects, it will be sold in addition to its regular sized counterpart, and a variety of plastic canvas shapes.  All of the products are made locally in Madison, Wisconsin.  “Having the product manufactured locally is important to our company” states Jay Foght, President of Cottage Mills.  “We strongly believe in creating the best product we can for our customers.”

In September 2010, Cottage Mills, LLC of Waunakee WI, acquired the QuickCount and Needloft™ brands from Uniek, also of Waunakee.  “We continue to be excited about this opportunity” says Jay.  “These tried and true brands are staples to their users. We are happy to have made the transition of these products into our current craft portfolio and are pleased to reintroduce them into the craft market.”  In addition to the standard product offerings, the QuickCount products are also available in bulk quantities.  Both the QuickCount and Needloft products are available through the company website www.cottagemills.com and a variety of web based retailers.
