Crafting for a Cause: Mama to Mama

Mama to Mama is a new site started by SouleMama and devoted to crafting for charity. The introductory post says,

Sometimes it’s far too easy to get overwhlemed at the sadness, violence and despair in the world. It’s easy to feel hopeless and powerless against it all, and lost in trying to explain the world to our children. But we needn’t throw our hands up. There are simple ways that we can improve the lives of others. Simple ways that can involve our craft and our families. It is my hope that Mama to Mama can provide a place for making that connection and action happen, and for sharing some stories of success and beauty.

Mama to Mama’s first featured project is Caps to Cap-Haitien, and I’m sure many more will follow. I’m adding this blog to my reader. I hope you will, too.
