Cyber Fyber is open!!!

January 8, 2009 by Denise Felton 1 Comment

The long-awaited Cyber Fyber Exhibition opens today at Gallery 80808/Vista Studios, 808 Lady Street, Columbia, South Carolina, USA.

The brainchild of Susan Lenz, the exhibit focuses on the supportive, global community of fiber artists with whom Susan regularly shares new techniques, contemporary approaches to textiles, and finished work by Internet websites and blogs. The exhibition includes three primary areas: Fiber ATCs (Artist Trading Cards); fiber postcards; and the work of several invited artists.

The opening reception is Friday, January 9; Fiber Day is Saturday, January 10; and ATC Day is Saturday, January 17. If you can’t attend the exhibition or events in person, be sure to follow the action on the Cyber Fyber blog.

Congratulations, Susan, on realizing this extraordinary art happening!
