SharonB of In A Minute Ago blog just turned me on to a cool online tool for designing your own fonts: FontStruct. There are dozens of applications for a font engine, of course, but the possibilities for needlework designers are especially exciting to me. SharonB notes that the output from FontStruct is a TrueType font, which means your design will work with any Mac- or Windows-based software. You can use FontStruct for free, so you’ve got to try it out.
