I deeply love these dip-dyed hoops blogged on The Crafts Dept. by Kristin St. Clair. She dipped white wool felt in a blue dye bath to create the illusion of winter landscapes. The polar animals are crisply cut of felt and adhered to the backgrounds. Stitchers might get more pleasure from attaching them with buttonhole stitch or just embroidering the animals to begin with. The post doesn’t offer much instruction (it’s a recap of a project shown on the Martha Stewart show), but there are lots of photos to spark your imagination. See the post.
