DMC is stitching pink

June 22, 2010 by Denise Felton 3 Comments

DMC Threads will help fight breast cancer with its new Stitch Pink Campaign. How can you help? The blog encourages you to buy a Stitch Pink Accessory Kit; however, it doesn’t explain what part of the proceeds, if any, will be contributed to breast cancer research. The blog is clear, though, about DMC’s Stitch-Pink-Stitch-Along. It says,

DMC will be releasing free pink charts for you to stitch, which you can then send to the DMC offices, so that we can finish all designs onto a quilt. The Pink Quilt will be auctioned off on Ebay, with proceeds going to a local breast cancer organization. The organization will be announced at a later time. Deadline for all project submissions is September 15th.

The first free chart is available now. Go get it.
