Dog Walker Printed Panel for Embroidery – Etsy Review

May 31, 2026 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

This one has such a gentle, storybook feel to it. The Dog Walker Printed Panel for Embroidery from LiliPopo is a physical printed fabric panel, not a digital download, with the design printed onto natural organic calico in a light grey outline that is meant to be easy to stitch over. The listing says you receive the panel by post, while the stitching instructions and colour guide are emailed as a PDF within 24 hours of purchase.

What I really like here is the look of the design itself. From the listing images, it has that cosy woodland-autumn mood with a girl, lantern, little dog in a sweater, crescent moon, and warm earthy stitching tones. It feels more like a finished piece of hoop art than just a practice sampler, which makes it especially appealing if you enjoy embroidery projects that look lovely framed up once they’re done. That visual description comes from the listing images rather than separate written specs.

This also feels very beginner-friendly, which I know a lot of readers appreciate. The seller explicitly says the pattern is suitable for a beginner, and notes there are beginner stitch tutorials available on their website. The printed panel itself is about 9 x 9 inches (22 x 22 cm), with the actual image sized to fit neatly in a 6-inch embroidery hoop, and the seller recommends a 6-inch hoop plus a No. 7 crewel needle.

One thing worth noting is that this is not a full kit. The listing repeats that threads, hoop, and needle are not included, so you are really buying the printed fabric panel plus emailed instructions rather than a ready-to-stitch boxed set. That is not a bad thing at all, but it is the sort of detail that saves disappointment later, especially if someone is shopping quickly and assumes “panel” means everything arrives together.
