Mary Corbet of Needle ‘N Thread has been posting a series of Shisha stitch tutorials. Just a reminder – Shisha stitch is the one where the stitches hold mirrors onto the ground fabric. The stitches are usually a combination of embroidery stitches and Mary’s tutorials always explain the needed methods for them in detail using a multitude of photos and clear text. In this case, Mary says this one is the easiest yet. I think it is one of the coolest too. The stitch looks like a little cage that is holding the mirror on the fabric. Learn the latest easy Shisha stitch technique at Needle ‘N Thread.
