Embroiderers: Mark your calendars

Embroidery Mart – EAST 2008 is scheduled for August 15-16 at Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The event site says, “Who can attend Mart-EAST? Anyone involved in the commercial embroidery industry, anyone interested in the commercial embroidery industry and anyone interested in apparel decoration. On display will be products, equipment and supplies in addition to free workshops and access to multiple exhibitors. By attending the Mart, you will connect with the people, tools and knowledge you need to be successful!” Registration is free for members of the National Network of Embroidery Professionals. The fee for nonmembers is nominal: US$20 per person. Pre-registration ends at midnight August 11, so sign up now.
