Embroidery Inspiration – Girls

August 18, 2018 by Shellie Wilson 3 Comments

This is another Embroidery post without a tutorial or pattern. (Sorry folks) I was not able to find a pattern but still wanted to share this embroidery with you. These little dolls are artistic and creative. They allow for a freedom of design with their free motion machine embroidery. (img src) .

I would love to have a go at making these dolls in the bear future. I think they would make great little-scented pouches too.

My mom made a bunch of similar”dolls”& sewed a small safety pin on the back. She sent them out to her kids & grands to wear as pins on backpacks, jackets etc. Needless to say I have quite a few I added a key fob to one of mine to hang my keys. Great memories of my mother
    & Her amazing artist talent.

These are so adorable. I am a proficient sewist and could make these with ease
If you can embroider and sew, then just get some scraps and make your own pattern
If you do not have scraps, find some old fabric, like a torn bed sheet.
This is how I learned to make things on my own- advice and guidance from my sweet mother ?
