I am so excited to have discovered the web site of the Anazitisi Cultural Centre of Cyprus, “a not-for-profit organization with two main topics of interest: youth work and the revival of Cypriot tradition.” Athina Kyriakou sent us an announcement about a fiber art teacher-training course offered by the center:
Stitches and threads – Traditional textile handicraft in Cyprus [is] taking place in Cyprus 09/03-14/03/2012 …The course is Grundtvig/Comenius in-service training events and participants from all EU countries (except Cyprus) can receive a grant covering tuition, travel & lodging cost after applying to the EU LLP National Agency of their country. The deadline for grand applications in 16/9/2011.
