I do alot of embroidery but haven’t done anything on gingham since grade school where one of the 4h club projects was to embroider a design on a gingham check apron that we made from scratch. I have been looking for new challenges with my needlwork and found this sight. I am absolutely thrilled-after all this time, it is like a new hobby to enhance my embroidery skills. I was so thrilled w;hen I found this site that offers free projects. I am a senior on a fixed income so this sight is truly helping in so many ways–I get to go back in time and relearn an old skill. Thank you so much. I think that it is important because too many arts are being lost because the ones that know the art are dying off and not passing the art along to others and that is very sad. I even teach anyone who expresses an interest to learn.
