February 19, 2011 by Denise Felton 1 Comment

Check out the free-project page at the Janlynn site. The 33 designs include florals and a variety of holiday images. Nice! Go to the free projects.

And while you’re at Janlynn, you might as well poke around the needlecraft section. Excellent retail therapy!

Janlynn Christmas stockings and mitts kit number #021-1011
I am most disappointed with the quality of this kit. The ‘Aida14ct’ is like cardboard and three washings and soaking in fabric conditioner have done little to improve it. The Stranded cotton supplied might well have DMC numbering but there the similarity ends. It is dull and pasty when compared to the ‘real’ thing. The charts are thick and dark and hoping to improve them by enlarging has had little effect.
Not a cheap kit to putchase at £27.50 I expected better
