Free Elf Movie Quote Hand Embroidery Pattern

November 24, 2020 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

I’m pretty sure that around the holidays, the movie Elf  has got to be one of the most frequently quoted movies.  Of course I don’t actually know that for a fact, but given all of the memes and others things I see, I think it’s a decent guess.

As far as Elf quotes go, this is one of the best and is iconic for the season.  Isn’t Christmas a time to smile?  Just looking at this adorable hand embroidery project from Bev over at Flamingo Toes puts a smile on my face.  It’s another one of her beautiful designs in a long line of them.

Not only do you get Buddy’s long legs and adorable elf shoes, you get one of his popular lines.  Along with standard hand embroidery supplies, you do need a few other items like fusible webbing and felt.  The size of the project is a 10″ embroidery hoop, so it would stand out nicely hung on a wall.

Bev uses the easy backstitch for the lettering, so it’s not a difficult pattern to make.

Let your Elf spirit shine with this whimsical hand embroidery design.
