Free Fall Hand Embroidery Pattern

September 14, 2020 by Claudia Porter Leave a Comment

It is never a bad time to start a new hand embroidery project, and this charming design from Adventures of a DIY Mom has just been added to my to-do list for fall.  Of course, that list seems to be getting bigger and bigger! There are so many fall embroidery patterns available, but this one stands out.  An added bonus is that it is free, and let’s be honest, we all love a free design every now and then.

With its “Happy Fall” message surrounded by fall leaves and a couple of cute pumpkins, it is a lovely addition to anyone’s fall décor.

Using three different embroidery stitches, including the backstitch, satin stitch, and the fishbone stitch, this project comes together quickly.  It only requires a few supplies, a number of which you may already have on hand.  Finished, it measures about 8″ so it’s a nice size, not too big and not too small.  I think it would make a lovely hostess gift for someone, and I plan on making a couple of them for that reason.  I will definitely be making one for myself too.

You can find this delightful fall hand embroidery pattern and tutorial here.  And for all of you who like social media, the designer encourages you to show off your work, so you may want to do that!
