I was never any good at embroidery, specifically getting those nice lined-up stitches. I keep meaning to practice but whenever I consider trying to learn again, it’s been disheartening over the years to see more and more awesome patterns that require a machine that I don’t own.
So I love, love, love that you posted this and that there are still people doing it by hand. I have such high respect for those who make it look so beautiful with such skill!

Hi, turtle! I checked the links for number 1 and 14. Both are to Early Bird Special blog, which appears to have been taken down. I hope this is a temporary failure–this rockin blog has been such a wonderful resource for all of us.
