Free patterns: Embroidered quilt blocks

Shelly of The Life of Hazel Ilene is sharing an embroidery quilt-along one block at a time. She says,

For these blocks, there’s a plain version, and a fancy version. Which you do just depends on how much you like embroidery, how involved you want to get with it, and how comfortable you are with various stitches.
