Janet Wickell, editor of About.com’s quilting blog, is sharing her pattern for the beginner-friendly quilt block Nine Patch Chain. She says,
Nine Patch Chain is made with all squares — there are no triangles with stretchy edges to deal with. The small nine patch units that are placed on the diagonal are strip pieced, so they go together quickly.
