Friday: Stitch in public!

September 1, 2010 by Denise Felton 2 Comments

Over on MrXStitch, beefranck reminds us that Friday is a special day. She says,

We just HAVE to spread the word about Stitch in Public Day, which is happening this Friday, September 3rd! *Cheers! Fanfare!*

We’re both going to stitch in public that day, and we’d love it if you would, too. We even created a new Flickr group just for pictures of stitching in public. There’s already some pretty awesome shots in there already – stitching on the train, on the beach, on a cruise ship, at a concert – but we’d love to have more! Join us!

I’m thinking this is a great opportunity to hang out in my favorite coffee/pastry shop for a few hours and get some serious stitching done! How about you?

(Oh, and we see you there, beefranck! Look how cute you are!)

Stitching in public day to me, is whenever I go out… and it never fails that at least five people ask me what am doing, so I show them and encourage them to stitch
