Holy smokes! Look what I found! A new site devoted to “all things needlework”: Needle Knowledge. The site has four main areas–Knitting & Crochet, Embroidery & Needlework, Sewing & Quilting, and Knowledge Nuggets. My personal interests hit each of these areas, so a lot of coffee was consumed while I investigated them. Of greatest interest to this blog, though, are the needlework section (where you’ll find free designs and ideas for surface embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint and canvas work, and counted thread) and the nuggets section (which will be a repository for tips and tutorials related to the techniques mentioned on the site). The images above show just a few of the free projects. Make yourself a pot of coffee and spend a little time with Needle Knowledge! Go there now.
